Shout out

I had to take the time out of my schedule to voice my love for my gal-pals. You gals have been an amazing source of inspiration and support. I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for you. I love you all!

Tova - you keep me sane. From dancing till dawn to sangria at Versailles, you're always there for me. I love our daily-extended talks on the phone, and live for your sincere laugh. I can't wait till we're old biddies; yelling at young boys and hitting them with our canes. You're my true partner in crime.

Krissy - you make me feel loved. No event can be dull with Krissy around - whether it be cheese and wine night or a house music club. Her hollers can be heard around the room (literally, haha), and everyone responds to her energy. You're my oldest friend out of the four of you, and I'm so glad you're in my life.

Kat - you're my soul sister. Kat and I are twins - we have the same taste in pretty much everything and the same thoughts. There is no skin softer in the world, or a smile that lights up the room more than yours. When I'm around you, I feel safe and like I'm at home.

Carrie - you're sunshine to me. You're hilarious and so full of love. Your insight into everything is original and intelligent. Whenever I'm around you (which isn't often enough), I'm filled with joy.

Again, I love you all. :)

I've died and gone to heaven

My Drawing and Comp professor used the word "impecable" when describing my color wheel today. (And it's damn well deserved - spent 16 hours on the thing - good lord, I never realized you could spend such a long time applying and mixing oily substances on paper.)I know it sounds strange to be excited about that, but compliments like that come once in a blue moon at art school...so I'm gonna enjoy it for a while...or at least until my next "this is crap" comment steals my thunder.

Motivated 2.1

Got re-motivated with the concept of procrastinating homework. Stripped my old site - at least now I can relax that people aren't looking through a ton of my old work. phew! New work will come soon.

speaking of work...*sigh*

Motivated 2.0

grand notions for new site
tummy rumbled
reached for cereal
poured milk
milk tasted sour
made funny face
dumped out cereal
brilliant idea [insert light bulb here]
poured chocolate milk on new bowl of cereal
reminisced of childhood Count Choco days
tummy rumbled
remembered I was an adult
dumped out bowl of liquid sugar
lost motivation for site
looking for new source of nutrition
must work on homework now

Motivated

I don't really have the time, but I desperately need to redesign my web site. It's sooooo old - I'm dying to take a crack at it again. I might allow myself a few hours today to at least punch something out. woo hoo!
