Pure Genius!

Garden State Soundtrack Anyone who appreciates music should purchase/download (whatever your heart desires) this album. It's brilliant!

I highly recommend if you have $15 and a couple of hours to spend that you pop into a local movie theatre and watch Garden State. Definitely one of my top 10 favorite movies ever, and possibly one of the best movies of the year.

Update

My bridesmaid dress arrived two days ago! :) (The dress color is plum.) Well, I've been dieting, and when I took my measurements, I ordered the dress a size smaller than I was at the time, but the dress is already falling off of me. So, I'm gonna have to have it tailored. :) I mean...if a dress isn't going to fit, I guess that's the way for it to go. hee hee

I'm going out tonight to see a friend spin at King King and dance my butt off. :) Tomorrow Tova and I are going to Sunset Junction (a street fair held here on Sunset Blvd.), and then I think I might chill and bbq on Sunday.

So, I plan to keep this thing going more often, now that I have a little more time. :) But for now, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy what few days I have remaining and take a nap! :)

See ya later.

Ok, so it's been a while...but for good reason!

Becky and Teri So much has happened in the past month, it's been a little crazy! First and foremost, my father passed away July 6, 2004 due to lung cancer. My sister and I made it to Montana to spend a few hours with him before he passed away. We spent about a month in Montana taking care of some things, getting some rest and getting ready for the memorial service. A lot of family came for the service, Debbie's relatives, my aunts and cousins and my Mom!!! :) My oldest and dearest friend Becky came to be with me for a couple of days during the memorial service too...which definitely made things easier with all of the chaos that was happening around that time. Thanks Becky, I love you!!! :)

View from the trailThe day of the memorial was wonderful! That morning, my sister Chris, my step-sisters Angie and Rebecca, and I hiked the "M". A mountain that towers over the University of Montana. The picture to the left is a view from of the University from about 1/3 of the way up the trail. Once we got to the top of the mountain, we spread our father's ashes all around (per his wishes). He's definitely got the best view in the city up there. We took a few minutes to enjoy the scenary, then we headed back down to join the family at Finnegan's for breakfast. The service was held at the University Urey Lecture Hall. It was really nice, because a lot of his older friends came and told stories, which gave us all a chance to remember and laugh. :)

Livestrong!

Let's see, then I came back and have been working on my house. I got a new bed, and purchased a new laptop...ahhhh, life is good. :) And right now I'm planning a trip to Scotland for New Years, to go to the Hogmanay festival.

School starts in 11 days, so I've got to head over to the campus to purchase a parking permit, and run across the street to buy my books.

Hope that was a good catch-up on what's been going on. I'll post more often now that the pressure of not posting for so long is gone.

Ciao!
